Maher Benham is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher. She has taught both Yoga and Asanadance at the Jivamukti Yoga Center in New York City. She has choreographed several dances for Jivamukti’s founders, Sharon Gannon and David Life, which they have performed both internationally and on stage with Coyote Dancers. She has studied Ashtanga Yoga both with David Life and with Sri K. Patabhi Jois. Her open yoga and meditation classes held at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre were highly popular and consistently packed. She teaches yoga and meditation both privately and to groups.
Manorama, Basic Sanskrit Alphabet
Manorama is the director of the School of Sanskrit Studies in NYC. Manorama leads workshops on Luminous Shabda, a path that combines Sanskrit, Meditation and Yoga philosophy. She leads workshops nationally, as well as internationally in Europe and Canada.
